Layer 3 brings together technology and pure style: a die-cast aluminium frame, compact lines and a floating-looking light element with a micro-texture lens. With 8 SMD LEDs it combines three functions: sequential turn signal, rear position light and brake light.

Compatibility and notes

A specific wiring kit is needed for installation. On BMW R nineT from 2017 with a dashboard warning light, the EE149H resistor kit (3 W, 38 Ω) in parallel with the indicators is recommended.

The three-function rear indicators can only be fitted when a Rizoma licence-plate holder with a dedicated wiring kit exists, which lets you remove the original tail light.
