The BCR alarmed disc lock is a compact anti-theft device for motorcycles and scooters: it locks onto the brake disc with a 5.5 mm pin and, besides stopping the wheel from turning, sounds a 120 dB siren if someone tries to move the vehicle.

How the alarm works

Unlike a plain mechanical disc lock, the audible alarm acts as a deterrent and alerts you too. Once the pin is inserted in the disc the alarm arms itself: it gives 3 warning beeps first and, if the vehicle is moved, the siren sounds for 10 seconds.

Compatibility

5.5 mm diameter pin: suits brake discs with compatible hole sizes. Before ordering, check that the pin fits the holes of your vehicle’s disc.

Fitting tips

Charge the battery over USB before first use, insert the pin into one of the disc holes and lock it with the key. The reminder cable is there to remind you to remove the lock before setting off.
