ARI - The Original Fork Seals, Specific Sealing Rings
The fork oil seals offered by Ariete are unique in their kind on the market, thanks to the use of high-quality materials and the use of the innovative carboxylated elastomer known as XNBR.
This particular compound boasts extraordinary resistance characteristics to abrasion, extreme temperatures, and oils, including oils with special additives used in modern suspensions for motorcycles and scooters.
The fork oil seals, working longitudinally along the fork's stem, are subjected to significant abrasive stresses, accentuated by the heat generated during movement. This process can lead to the deterioration of the rubber material, which is already exposed to constant chemical aggression from oils and their additives.
In contrast, the common nitrile rubber, known as NBR, often used by most oil seal manufacturers, is typically an economical choice but of lower quality.
